ISlamabad, Feb 27 (Inditop.com) Four people, including two policemen, were killed and 23 injured Saturday in a suicide attack on a police station in Pakistan’s restive North West Frontier Province, police said.

One of the two suicide bombers blew himself at the gate, killing a policeman, while the other attacker drove his explosive-laden pickup van into the police station, according to Gul Shadi Khan, the station house officer of Karak.

The victims included a former union council member, two policemen and a child, Khan said, adding that 23 people, including 12 police personnel were injured in the incident, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

Officials of the bomb disposal squad said 100 kg of explosive were used in the blast, which destroyed the outer portion of the police station besides damaging residential quarters and a mosque in the area.
