London, May 20 (Inditop.com) A Harvard professor has invented a new spray that helps one savour the taste of chocolates without adding to calories.

David Edwards, who has invented the spray called Le Whif, says that it only takes a touch of chocolate to satisfy the taste-buds, reports dailymail.co.uk.

“When you breathe the chocolate into your mouth, it dissolves immediately and coats the tongue and taste buds. It is a new approach to eating, by breathing. We inhale food into our mouths and taste it without chewing, to get an experience of the flavour without eating a single calorie,” he said.

The lipstick-shaped aerosol inhaler sprays particles of dark chocolate into the mouth, providing a chocolate eating experience and curbing the craving.

Costing about $3, the inhaler comes in three flavours – chocolate, mint and raspberry – and contains between eight to 10 puffs.
