Ranchi, July 22 (Inditop.com) A seven-year-old girl was killed when she fell into a cauldron of hot food cooked for students in a Jharkhand school, an official said Wednesday.
Class I student Afsari Parveen was in a queue waiting for the midday meal to be served when someone pushed her from behind, an education department official said.
The incident took place Monday in Kolhaiya Kanadu village, about 45 km from Ranchi. The girl was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead.
Pradeep Chaube, the district superintendent of education, told IANS: “We have terminated the services of three temporary teachers and transferred two permanent teachers from the school.”
