London, Feb 13 (Inditop.com) British fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s mother was laid to rest, a day after the designer allegedly committed suicide in his London apartment.
The 40-year-old style icon struggled to come to terms with the loss of his mother Joyce, who had passed away earlier this month, reported femalefirst.co.uk.
The double tragedy rocked the star’s family, but they decided to forge ahead with funeral plans for Joyce McQueen Friday.
“It is just so raw. We are grieving. Everyone is too upset to say anything. But mum’s funeral is going ahead. It has all been arranged,” said the designer’s brother, Michael McQueen, before the memorial.
