Beijing, May 12 (Inditop.com) Seven children were hacked to death and at least 20 injured Wednesday morning at a kindergarten in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, authorities said.
The incident happened at about 8 a.m. at a kindergarten in Nanzheng County of Hanzhong city, said Liu Xiaoming, a publicity official.
“The injured have been rushed to hospital,” Xinhua quoted him as saying.
It was the fifth such attack against school children in less than two months.
Experts have blamed modern society pressures for the string of attacks.
