New Delhi, Feb 1 (IANS) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will form committees to look after its campaign in states where it will field candidates for the Lok Sabha polls, an AAP member said Saturday.
Senior party member Yogendra Yadav said once the party’s candidate list is out, committees to look after the election campaign would be formed.
“State campaign committees will be formed to look after party’s drive in states where the AAP will field candidates for the Lok Sabha polls,” he told the media.
He added the party would start a new drive from Feb 5 for recruiting interested people as part time or full time volunteers, so they could play a role during the campaign in states.
The AAP leader said: “We want to remove the corrupt politicians and end dynastic politics in the country.”
“This time we won’t let corrupt politicians enter parliament and will field our candidates against them,” he said.
He said Feb 15 onwards, the party would start “Jhadu yatra” in every district of the states to discuss the problems of the people and find solutions.
