New Delhi, July 1 (IANS) Sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan Tuesday got his sarod back after an international airlines had misplaced it.
The Padma Vibhushan recipient lost his prized possession while travelling from London to New Delhi by British Airways Monday.
“Epic Reunion!!! BA delivers my sarod. Thank you all for your prayers and love, especially the media for their kind support. My soul is back,” he tweeted.
He has been playing the same sarod for the last 45 years.
This was not the first time the sarod player had a difficult time with the British airlines. In 1997, they had damaged his sarod.
