New Delhi, April 16 (Inditop.com) Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor, a twitter celebrity, has not registered his presence on the social media tool ever since he got entangled in the IPL row.
With over 715,000 followers on Twitter, Tharoor had been a prolific user of the web tool, posting at least three to four times daily.
But since Wednesday, Tharoor has gone silent on the twitter front. His last line was a note that he was “going live” on NDTV private news channel to give his side of the IPL controversy.
IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi had alleged that Tharoor asked him not to reveal the ownership pattern of a consortium that won the IPL Kochi franchise. One of its members if Sunanda Pushkar, a close friend.
Tharoor has stoutly denied the allegation, and his second last post was a link to his statement on April 13.
Similarly, Lalit Modi, his antagonist in this ongoing saga, has gone silent on Twitter even longer, since Sunday.
Modi’s last post was five question marks, in response to a query from a twitter user.
