Ranchi, Oct 31 (IANS) The ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) in Jharkhand Wednesday vehemently denied claims of JMM chief Shibu Soren that there would be a “rotation of power” once the Arjun Munda government completes 28 months in office.

“We have no information that the government was formed on condition of rotation of power. If any such deal had taken place with central leaders, then the JMM should take up the issue with them, instead of making public statements and putting question marks over the survival of the government,” Pradeep Sinha, Jharkhand BJP spokesperson, told IANS.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren had claimed Tuesday while talking to reporters in Dumka district that there would be change of leadership after the Munda government has been in office for 28 months.
Jharkhand Cooperative and Welfare Minister and JMM legislator Haji Hussain Ansari Wednesday said: “We stand by guruji’s (Shibu Soren) statement.”
Shibu Soren, at regular intervals, has claimed that there will be a transfer of power in the state after Munda completes 28 months in office. Each time, the BJP goes out on a limb denying the claim.
The BJP government, led by Arjun Munda and supported by the JMM and others, was formed in September 2010. The 28-month period will be completed in January next year.
