New Delhi, Sep 1 (Inditop.com) The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) central election committee will meet here Friday to chalk out a strategy for the assembly elections in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh.

BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu made the announcement after a meeting of party colleagues including president Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj.

The three Congress-ruled states go to polls Oct 13 and the votes will be counted Oct 22. It will be the first electoral battle since the Congress retained power in the Lok Sabha elections of April-May.
