Lucknow, Dec 30 (IANS) In a swift political development, Rajya Sabha member Naresh Agarwal who was expelled from the Bahujan Samaj Party Friday morning was admitted to the Samajwadi Party within hours by party president Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Addressing party workers, Mulayam Singh said that with Agarwal coming back to the party fold, he was pretty confident of emerging victorious in the coming assembly polls.
‘Let me tell you all that Naresh may have left the party to join the BSP, he never worked against the interest of the Samajwadi Party. He always remained in touch with me and my party colleagues while he was on the elephant ride,’ claimed Yadav.
Exhorting party workers to ensure the party’s return to power, Mulayam Singh said: ‘Once we come back to power, our main objective will be to ensure jobs for the unemployed youths.’
