New Delhi, May 16 (Inditop) The Congress was leading in six of the seven parliamentary constituencies in the national capital, about two hours into the counting of votes Saturday.

Those leading were — Kapil Sibal from Chandni Chowk, Sandeep Dikshit from East Delhi, Ramesh Kumar from South Delhi, Krishna Tirath from Northwest Delhi, J.P. Agarwal from Northeast Delhi and Ajay Maken from New Delhi.

The lone Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate who was leading was Jagdish Mukhi from West Delhi against his Congress rival Mahabal Mishra.

Congress won six seats in Delhi in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections.
