Hyderabad, May 15 (Inditop) An MP from the ruling Congress party in Andhra Pradesh has predicted that several state ministers will lose the assembly elections held along with the Lok Sabha ballot.

Industrialist L. Rajagopal, seeking re-election from the Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency, has predicted that his party would retain power in the state but several state ministers would bite the dust.

The MP’s findings have embarrassed the party leaders as he forecast defeat for over a dozen ministers in the Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy cabinet.

Rajagopal claimed that the Congress will get 155 seats in the 294-member assembly and will also bag 33 of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

He also forecast that Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao would lose in the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha constituency.
