New Delhi, June 4 (IANS) Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said that he was “deeply distressed” at the militant attack on an army convoy in Manipur, that left 18 soldiers dead.
“Deeply distressed after the news of attack on Army convoy in Manipur. We will not allow the sacrifices of our soldiers to go waste,” he tweeted.
At least 18 soldiers were killed and 11 others injured when NSCN-K militants ambushed their convoy in Manipur’s Chandel district.
