Those riding two-wheelers are the most affected and were seen covering their noses and ears to protect themselves from the sun. They were constantly hydrating themselves at roadside kiosks selling lemonade, water and cold drinks.
Humidity wavered between a high and low of 44 and 24 percent respectively.
Thursday’s maximum temperature settled four notches above the season’s average at 42.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled one notch below the season’s average at 24.2 degrees Celsius.
