Kolkata, May 6 (IANS) Former West Bengal chif minister and Marxist leader Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee Sunday took a dig at US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s visit to the city, saying that the present Trinamool Congress government is one of the US’ favourites.

“Writers Building is getting decorated. A guest has arrived in our city. We don’t know the purpose behind her visit. Actually the present state government is one of their (US administration) favourites and that is why they are visiting the city,” said Bhattacharjee, who is also the politburo member of the Communist Party of India- Marxist.
Clinton arrived here Sunday on a two-dayvisit during which she would hold talks with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and interact with a cross-section of people.
