New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Saturday directed officials to review and assess issues related to water and power supply in Delhi following Friday’s thunderstorm.
At a meeting with officials of the Delhi Jal Board and the power department, and divisional commissioners, Jung asked them to take the necessary steps to alleviate the problems being faced by the public following the storm.
Besides, he asked divisional commissioners to survey and assess the damage and directed them to give ex-gratia/relief to affected families.
