New Delhi, May 4 (Inditop.com) The Lok Sabha Tuesday was adjourned till noon following a ruckus created by opposition MPs over three different issues.

The Shiv Sena, Left and AIADMK MPs gathered near the speaker’s podium raising separate slogans related to the Mumbai train drivers’ stir, the 2G spectrum allocation and Minister of State for Rural Development Shishir Adhikari’s alleged role in buying arms for Trinamool Congress workers in West Bengal.

Furious Congress MPs protested against the continuous disruption of question hour. They raised questions to register their protest against the opposition’s “unruly behaviour” in the house.

Shiv Sena MPs raised the demand for higher salaries by motormen who run Mumbai’s suburban trains. The AIADMK demanded Communication and IT Minister A. Raja’s sacking over alleged irregularities in the allocation of 2G spectrum.

The Left MPs were upset over Adhikari’s alleged role in buying arms for Trinamool workers in West Bengal to target their cadres. Adhikari is said to have procured arms from a Bangladeshi dealer.

On the train drivers’ agitation, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said: “We (government) will come with a statement today (Tuesday) or tomorrow (Wednesday).” But the MPs were not satisfied.

Speaker Meira Kumar also appealed to the MPs to return to their seats but no one was prepared to listen to her.

She tried to continue the question hour amid the bedlam. But eventually she adjourned the house at noon.
