New Delhi, June 30 (IANS) It was a muggy Monday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded a notch above the average at 37.2 degrees Celsius and humidity levels swinging between 55 and 92 percent. The Met office forecasts a cloudy Tuesday with rain and thundershowers.

“Tuesday will be cloudy with rain and thundershowers in some parts of the city,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to hover around 37 and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
Monday’s minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 25.2 degrees Celsius.
Sunday was warm with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average while the minimum temperature settled at 30 degrees Celsius, two notches above the average.
