New Delhi, June 16 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday returned from his two-day trip to Bhutan, his first foreign visit after taking office.
In Thimphu, the prime minister held talks with the Bhutanese leadership, addressed a joint session of Bhutan’s parliament and inauguarated the Supreme Court building, which India has helped to fund.
He was accompanied by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh.
