New Delhi, June 17 (IANS) Rajiv Gandhi, the prime minister at the time of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, was fully informed after the home ministry decided to give then Union Carbide chairman Warren Anderson safe passage and he did not object to it, M.K. Rasgotra, who was then the foreign secretary, disclosed Thursday.

Rasgotra revealed this in an interview to CNN-IBN news channel.
