Hyderabad, June 5 (IANS) Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday met Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan.

The meeting assumed significance in view of the ongoing investigations into cash-for-vote scam, in which a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) legislator has been caught red-handed.
Though official sources said the chief minister met the governor to invite him to attend the valedictory of Telangana formation day celebrations, the meeting comes in the wake of reports Telangana government is gearing up to include Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in cash-for-vote scam.
Narasimhan is serving as governor for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
TDP legislator Revanth Reddy was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on May 31 when he was handing over Rs.50 lakh to nominated member Elvis Stephenson to make him vote for the TDP-Bharatiya Janata Party candidate in Telangana legislative council elections. Revanth and his two aides were arrested in a trap laid by ACB.
Telangana Home Minister N. Narasimha Reddy has claimed that Naidu is involved in the scam. He said police has evidence of Naidu’s conversation with the nominated legislator and some other legislators of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
Telangana chief minister on Thursday had reviewed the progress in the case Awith ACB Director General A. K. Khan and intelligence chief Shivadhar Reddy.
