New Delhi, Feb 22 (Inditop.com) Hundreds of advocates and lawyers demanding prompt action for the formation of a separate Telangana state and introduction of the Telangana state formation bill staged a protest in the national capital Monday.
Holding placards with messages such as ‘Lathi, goli khayenge, Telanagana le jaayenge’ and shouting “Jai Telangana”, men and women dressed in their black and white lawyers’ clothes voiced their demands at Jantar Mantar in the heart of the capital.
The protest was timed to coincide with the opening day of the budget session.
