Gurgaon, Feb 25 (Inditop.com) A police team raided the house of Baba Jaspal Singh, a religious guru, in Gurgaon’s Palam Vihar area Thursday. Singh has allegedly kidnapped two girls, police said.

“Two girls Kiran Kaur, 18, and Preet Kaur, 20, have been missing from Ludhiana for two days. The father of the girls, who is also a follower of the Baba, alleged that Jaspal Singh kidnapped the girls. We raided his Palam Vihar house and detained two of his followers. They said that the Baba is in Dubai and there is no trace of the two girls as of now,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pat Ram said.

According to the complainant he met the Baba in 2007.

“He first sent my daughters to the Guru Nanak Khalsa College in Ludhiana. I got a call from the hostel Wednesday that my daughters were missing. I informed the Punjab police and came with them to Gurgaon. For five hours the two members didn’t open the door and only after the Gurgaon police came and broke open the door did we learn that neither the Baba nor my daughters were there,” said Rupendra Singh, father of the two girls and a resident of Model Town in Ludhiana.

Pat Ram aded that the Punjab police team was “interrogating two followers of Baba, Gurpreet Singh and Manjeet Singh. Further investigations are on.”
