Thiruvananthapuram, April 30 (IANS) A Kerala government website with the results of Class 10 state board exams got 2.4 crore (24 million) hits from 90 countries Thursday when the lists of successful candidates were put up, an official said Saturday.
The website is managed by state owned IT@School and its chief Anvar Sadath said that in the first hour of the results being published by State Education Minister M.A.Baby, more than 75 lakh (750,000) hits were recorded.
A total of 458,559 students in the state and various Middle East countries had appeared in the exam. The pass percentage was 91.37.
‘The hits were recorded mostly from the state, other parts of India, Middle East countries and and the US,’ said Sadath.
