New Delhi, Feb 7 (Inditop.com) Abhinav Bindra finished with a silver medal in the last of the triple match series in the men’s 10m air rifle at the 33rd Inter-Shoot championships in Hague, the Netherlands.

In the qualification round, Bindra shot a score of 595 with a series of 98, 100, 99, 100, 99, 99 and followed it with a final round of 102.7 to miss the gold by a slender margin of 0.1 points, according to Indianshooting.com.

Bindra won gold medals in the second match with scores of 700.1 (596+104.1) and 698.7 (595+102.7).

Bindra also equalled his Beijing Games qualification score of 596 at the IWK Grand Prix in Munich last week and at the RIAC Cup in Luxembourg in December.

The competitions were part of the training strategy, under the guidance of a professional team of experts, to give Bindra adequate exposure.
