Chennai, Jan 2 (IANS) The Indian challenge in the qualifying rounds of the Aircel ATP Chennai Open tennis tournament ended here Sunday with the exit of Vishnu Vardhan, Karunuday Singh and Rupesh Roy.
Vardhan, who had scalped seeded Conor Niland Saturday, went down tamely to Ante Pavic 6-1, 6-4, while Singh and Roy also lost in straight sets in their second round matches.
