Kolkata, Nov 2 (IANS) Kolkata is leaving no stone unturned to accord a grand farewell to batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar when he plays his penultimate Test match at the Eden Gardens here from Nov 6-10.

Even the match tickets will commemorate his genius with a portrait of a young Tendulkar by renowned painter Jogen Chowdhury.
A curly haired 16-year-old Sachin, in pen and ink, adorns the opening day ticket which went on sale Oct 25. The design is sure to send his legions of followers on a trip down memory lane.
“It is a privilege to be associated with such a monumental event. The portrait shows the young Sachin, all raring to go,” Choudhury told IANS.
Tendulkar announced earlier that the two Test series against the West Indies will bring the curtains down on his illustrious 24-year-long career.
The legend will play his 199th Test at the Eden Gardens and the farewell match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai Nov 14-18.
