Colombo, Sep 11 (Inditop.com) India bowled New Zealand out for 155 in 46.3 overs in their opening One-day International of the Compaq Cup tri-series cricket here Thursday.

New Zealand, electing to bat, lost wickets at regular intervals and were at one stage struggling at 66 for five wickets. Their captain Daniel Vettori was the top scorer with 25 runs.

For India, Ashish Nehra (3-24) and Yuvraj Singh (3-31) claimed three wickets each.

R.P. Singh (2-22), Ishant Sharma (2-26) picked two wickets each.
