Mumbai, May 14 (Inditop.com) The Indian cricket team returned home Friday after a disappointing performance in the World Twenty20 in the Caribbeans.

India, the 2007 champions, failed to win a single match in the Super Eights stage and were knocked out of the tournament.

Murali Vijay, Vinay Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja landed at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport while the others in the Indian squad were likely to get off at Delhi airport after a 28-hour flight.

The Indian team is also under a cloud for their off-field conduct after some players were reported to be involved in a pub brawl.

Even coach Gary Kirsten has reportedly taken to task seven players for being unfit and showing lack of commitment.
