Hamburg, April 12 (DPA) Roger Federer maintained his big lead in the men’s tennis rankings issued Monday by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) into the European clay court season which kicked off on the weekend.

Federer has 10,765 points, leading in an unchanged top 10 from Novak Djokovic of Serbia (7,630) and Spain’s Rafael Nadal (6,980).

The five-time reigning champion Nadal and Djokovic head the field at the Monte Carlo Masters which started Sunday and where Federer is not playing.
