New Delhi, June 27 (Inditop.com) India is among the 16 countries dropped from the FIFA women’s rankings for not figuring in any international matches in the last 18 months.

India, who were ranked as high as 50 in the last list released in March, dropped 49 places and are now out of the list that ranks teams up to 98 places.

The US continues to lead the women’s rankings followed by Brazil and Germany.

Cuba, Jordan, the Maldives, Uzbekistan and Venezuela return to the world rankings after having been temporarily excluded from the list due to their inactivity.
