Thran, Feb 2 (IANS) Former Iranian NBA Memphis Grizzlies centre Hamed Haddadi joined Iran’s Mahram basketball team Sunday.

The seven foot two inches Haddadi, who joined China CBA Sichuan in late September, will return to Iran to help Mahram win the domestic league, reports Xinhua.
Haddadi started last season with NBA giants Grizzlies. Then he went to Toronto Raptors after which he signed for Phoenix Suns where he averaged 4.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17 games.
Haddadi was named the most valuable player in the FIBA Asia Championships held in the Philippines in 203 August.
