Chennai, Dec 6 (IANS) Formidables from Delhi, the favourites, remained at the top with 45 Victory Points (VPs) at the end of the second round of the pre-quarterfinal stage for the Ruia Gold Cup team event of the 53rd Krishnapatnam Port Winter National Bridge Championship here Tuesday.
Close on the heels of Formidables are local Nest Inn, Malani from Andhra Pradesh, Manyavar from Maharashtra and Maya Mira from Delhi with 43.26, 42.96, 42.78 and 41.43 VPs, respectively.
In Ruia Silver Trophy for the lesser rated players, T Bose’s IV from Bengal are leading the field at the end of the third round with 78.84 VPs followed by Chowdhury Combines from Rajasthan (70.37) and local Ramaratnamn (69.58).
