New Delhi, April 2 (Inditop.com) India lost their last hockey match 1-2 as China completed a clean sweep in the three-match women’s series that ended in Shangahi Friday.
According to information received here, China led led 2-0 at half time with goals from Wang Men Gyu (4th) and Zhao Yu Diao (34th). Saba Anjum (67th) reduced the margin for India three minutes before the hooter.
India ended their seven-match twin series against Japan and China in their preparation programme for the Women’s World Cup in August, which would be followed by the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games in Delhi and Guangzhao respectively.
