Kolkata, Dec 22 (IANS) R.K. Krishnan and Raghu Raj Kumar won the Holkar Pairs event at the 54th Winter National Bridge Championship that concluded here Saturday.

The pair scored 962 master points to emerge champions with 33 others in fray. Veterans Subhas Gupta and J.M. Shah were the runners-up with 920 points followed by the duo of Samir Basak and Sukomal Das who finished with 896.
The mixed pairs titled went to the husband-wife duo of T.T. Chari and Lakshmi Chari with a score of 102 Master Points. The duo Suman Sehgal and Nirmal Guha with 97.5 points ended second.
In the categorised pair, Pinkai Khan and Bharati Dey emerged winners collecting 194 master points.
The junior pairs (under 25) event, held here for the first time, witnessed Aninda Kumar Sarkara and Kushal Chakraboarty outplaying six others to finish at the top with 15 points.
The duo of Wrik Chakraborty and Aritra Bhattachrajee came second with 14 while Bibhu Ranjan Saha and Subham Talukdar took the third spot with 12.
Earlier Friday, Delhi’s Formidables regained the coveted Ruia Gold Cup, defeating India Blues Bombay by 171-138 points while the Ruia Silver Trophy went to Combination who defeated Dr. S Sengupta’s IV by 207-198 points.
In IMP Pairs, A. Bapat and Sunil Machhar emerged champions with 177 points while S. Sadhukhan and Ayan Chatterjee were the runners-up scoring 171.
