New Delhi, Jan 21 (Inditop.com) The National Commission for Women (NCW) Thursday said it will take up the matter of India women hockey players’ pending dues with Hockey India.
“We are writing a letter to Hockey India about the whole matter,” NCW chairperson Girija Vyas told reporters here.
The India women hockey team has launched a protest saying the players have not received their dues for past one year.
Hockey India offered to pay Rs.50,000 to the players but they refused it as “too measly” and “too late”, and demanded Rs.300,000 each.
