Barcelona, May 28 (Inditop) Spanish police Thursday arrested more than 20 people as rioters disrupted more than 100,000 football fans celebrating FC Barcelona’s Champions League victory in Barcelona’s city centre.
A group of violent fans threw beer cans and bottles at police and journalists on Barcelona’s Las Ramblas boulevard, police said.

The attacks were mainly aimed against a team of Spanish state television TVE that covered the victory party.

More than 100,000 Barca fans gathered to celebrate the team’s 2-0 victory against Manchester United in the Champions League final played in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico Wednesday night.
