Dharamsala, May 17 (IANS) Kings XI Punjab thrashed defending champions Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the HPCA Stadium here Thursday.
Adam Gilchrist scored 64 off 46 balls and single-handedly propelled Kings XI past Chennai’s score of 120 for seven. Punjab with 16 points move into fifth place in the table and have a game in hand while the Super Kings, who are on 17 points, played their last league game.
