Kolkata, June 4 (IANS) Khalsa English High School along with National High School For Boys and Seventh Day Adventist Senior Secondary School entered the semi-finals of senior boys fours in 43rd K.C.Mahindra All India Invitation School Rowing Championship at the Lake Club Course of the Rabindra Sarovar here on Thursday.

The other semi-finalist is St. Lawrence School who already reached the last four stage earlier. In the semi-finals, St. Lawrence will meet Seventh Day Adventist while Khalsa English will take National High on Friday.
In the senior boys double scull, Dhakutia Ramchandra School, Army Public School, Swami Pranabananda Vidyalay and National High School entered the last four stage easily. While Ramchandra will lock horn with National High School, Swami Pranabananda will face Army Public School to decide the finalists.
The senior girls fours event saw Modern High School defeating National High School for Girls comfortably to face South Point in the title clash Saturday as they finished in the top two after the completion of three-team round robin league.
In the double scull division of this group, Ballygunge Siksha Sadan brightened their chance for a slot in the final, beating South point High School on Thursday. But the finalists in this event would be known only after the result of the race between South Point and Modern High scheduled for Friday.
There being only four contenders in the junior girls fours event, La Martinere Girls A, South Point High, H.L. Patranavis and La Martiniere Girls B will compete straightway in the semi-finals.
In the first semi-final, La Martiniere A will meet their B team while H.L. Patranavis will take on South Point in the other semi-final.
The semi-final line up for the junior girls doubles scull would be between South Point and Modern High and La Martiniere versus Kamala Girls.
In the junior boys fours, strong contender South Point lived up to the expectation and moved into the semi-finals, beating St. Helen B. In the first semi-final, it will take on La Martiniere while the second semi-final will see St. Helen A taking on Future Hope School.
Future Hope also made it to the semi-finals of junior boys double scull defeating Dolna School easily in the last eight stage. Dolna Day School and Young Horizon School also made it to the semi-finalsAA defeating South Point and Jadavpur Vidyapith respectively.
