Mumbai, April 9 (Inditop) Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will come face-to-face with his lookalike, his wax statue created by Madame Tussauds, here Monday.

Tendulkar’s wax statue, to be flown specially to India, will be unveiled at an event in a suburban hotel, according to an announcement here Thursday.

According to a spokesperson for the organisers, this is the first time that Madame Tussauds is having a statue launch abroad.

“Until now, all celebrity statue launches were held in London at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. This time, it is being held in Mumbai,” the spokesperson said.
