New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS) A four-member squad will represent India in the Maldives Invitational Table Tennis Open to be held in Male Dec 2-5.
The men’s team comprises India No.2 Abhishek Ravichandran and Aniket Koparkar while Pooja Sahasrabudhe and Neha Aggarwal will shoulder the women’s challenge.
‘The top players have been rested so that the younger lot gets the exposure,’ Dhanraj Choudhary, secretary general, Table Tennis Federation of India, told IANS.
Players from around 25 countries will participate in the four-day event.
The Indian team will leave for the Maldives Wednesday.
