Ahmedabad, Sep 30 (IANS) Sunrisers Hyderabad were knocked out of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament after their match against Brisbane Heat was abandoned without a ball being bowled at the Sardar Patel Stadium here Monday.
It was the third washout here after two matches on Sep 23 were called off due to rain.
Sunrisers finished Group B with six points, winning one and losing a couple out of the four games. Heat were already out of the semi-final contention after losing three in a row.
Trinidad and Tobago now have a good chance of becoming the second team to advance from the group after the Chennai Super Kings. The two teams meet each other in Delhi Wednesday.
