Chennai, Aug 22 (IANS) Nandini Das from Maharashtra authored the only upset of Thursday when she defeated eighth seeded and compatriot Devanshi G. Bhimjivani 6-4, 6-1 en route to the semi-finals of the girls singles in the AITA Adidas-MCC Junior National tennis championship here.

In the semi-finals, Das will take on second seeded Samhitha Sai from Tamil Nadu, who blanked D. Navanika Reddy (AP) 6-0, 6-0. Top seeded Snehadev S. Reddy (TN) faces No.7 Dhruthi T. Venugopal (Karnataka).
