Johannesburg, May 13 (Inditop) Revelling in home conditions, three South African batsmen are among the top 10 performers in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Jean Paul Duminy of Mumbai Indians, at third place, leads the list followed by Jacques Kallis of Royal Challengers at fifth and AB de Villiers of Delhi Daredevils at sixth.

Duminy has so far scored 297 runs at an average of 50 while Kallis has 274 runs in 10 matches.

The only centurion of this edition’s IPL De Villiers has scored 271 runs. His unbeaten 105 came against Kolkata Knight Riders.

De Villiers also hit six sixes in that innings and it is still to be surpassed.

Australia’s Matthew Hayden heads the batting list with 426 runs with Suresh Raina at second (309 runs).

South African captain Graeme Smith heads the highest partnerships list together with his Rajasthan Royals team mate Naman Ojha, with 135-run first wicket stand against Kings XI Punjab.

South African players are having a great time in the field as well. Morne van Wyk holds the record for taking most catches in an innings –three– against Royal Challengers.

Van Wyk also tops the list for the most boundaries in an innings. He struck 11 fours against Delhi Daredevils in Durban.

In bowling charts, Yusuf Abdulla is at fourth with 14 wickets from 9 matches.

RP Singh is at teh top with 16 wickets followed by Lasith Malina (15) and Ashish Nehra (14).

Kallis, however, hold the dubious record of the most expensive bowling (4-0-51-1) that came against Kings XI Punjab.
