Pune, May 4 (IANS) Top seeded Vasisht Cheruku defeated fellow-Indian and No.2 ranked Raghav Jaisinghani 6-3, 6-1 in the boys singles final of the PCLTA Cup Asian Under-14 tennis tournament here Friday.
The girls’ singles title went to Mihika Yadav who overcame Zeel Desai 6-4, 6-2, in another all-India final.
Mihika went on to achieve a double as she combined with Abhinikka R to annex the girls’ doubles crown as the duo beat Aastha Dargude and Jennifer Luikham 7-5, 6-3, in the final.
Jaisinghani paired up with Yuvraj Raghuvanshi to defeat Kabir Manraj and Akash Reddiyar 6-3, 6-2, in the boys’ doubles final.
