New Delhi, Aug 25 (Inditop.com) A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative was arrested with explosives in the national capital Tuesday by the Delhi Police special cell.
After specific information, Saleem was arrested by a special cell team from the Ajmeri Gate area in central Delhi, a senior police officer said.
“We arrested an LeT operative from the Ajmeri Gate area Tuesday noon. We have recovered explosives and detonators from his possession,” Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) P.N. Aggarwal told Inditop.
Aggarwal said Saleem is being questioned to ascertain his motive and plans in the capital.
