Ranchi, Dec 21 (Inditop.com) Maoist guerrillas blew up a community building in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district as it was used by the security personnel in the recently concluded elections, police said Monday.

The rebels late Sunday attacked the building in Palamau village under Nawadih block of Bokaro district, about 130 km from state capital Ranchi. The community building was blown up by using explosives and detonators.

No one was injured in the incident, a police officer said.

“Maoists left a pamphlet saying that the community building was blown up as it was used by the security forces during the polls,” the officer said.

The guerrillas had blown up a government high school Dec 18 in the same Nawadih block as it was also used by the security forces during elections.
