The women and child development minister shared concerning malnutrition data in India. In June, 17% of children under six were underweight, 36% were stunted, and 6% were wasted. Uttar Pradesh had the highest stunting rate, while wasting was most severe in Lakshadweep. Some states, like Goa, showed better results with lower malnutrition rates.
