An aircraft carrying Malawi’s Vice President, Saulos Klaus Chilima, along with nine other passengers, has gone missing, as announced by Malawi’s presidency on Monday. Chilima, aged 51, was on board a Malawi Defense Force aircraft that departed from the capital, Lilongwe, at 0917 local time (0717 GMT). Search and rescue operations are currently underway.
